Offered at sale is this authentic Inuit Eskimo Soapstone Carving of two Arctic Seals and what appears to be a Sea Otter of possibly a third seal cavorting with one of the other Seals. The sculpturedoes not have the Canadian seal of authenticity but is signer with the signature \"MAKIMAK\" and the registration number. The quality of the carving and finish is excellent. The detail and finish work is excellent.This sculpture in one piece from a small Penn Estate collection, acquired some time back. The Sculpture measures3.0\" h x 7.5\" w x2.5\" dp. I believe the collection was assembled in the 70\'s.
