This is beautiful example of an offering/spice bowl. I don\'t know exactly what it was used for or exactly where it\'s from.
It has been well used for purpose and obviously wasn\'t someone\'s ornament.
It still makes a beautiful piece to look at and the engraving is quite unusual, right down to the bird engraving on the bottom rim.
It measures 10.5cm in diameter.
There are a few blemishes to the top rim which I\'ve photographed but as I say this was a used item and you can tell that from the worn inside metal.
