This beautiful pail is 7 1/4 inches tall and 7 1/4 inch in diameter at the top. There are no dings or dents. The handle fits well and moves freely. The colors are spectacular. There is a patch of rusty bumps about 4x2 inches and a little rust on the bottom. Rust is surface rust and does penetrate or compromise the metal.
