Vintage 1979 decorative ceramic liquor bottle with John Wayne portrait. The liquor bottle isdesigned as a hanging painting of John Wayne with gold frame and gold display light as the cork lid. The Mike Wayne Distilled Products Co. The bottle held Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the seal has been broken, and the contents are long gone. The gold is 23 karatpainted. Classic John Wayne, The Dukeportrait. The bottle measures 10.5\" tall, 6.5\" at the base, by over 1.75\" deep.The decorative liquor bottle is in great vintage condition. There is a bit of the gold glazing that has rubbed away where it was handled the most, on the bottom edge, corners, and edges, seen in pictures. The gold on the lid has lost some of its shine and rubbed away on the edges, seen in pictures. One tiny spot on the John Wayne portrait is missing the paint,seen in pictures. Itappears that at one time the ceramic bottle had been glued to something, there is some residual glue to the base. A wonderful addition to any liquor bottle collection, and a must have for a true John Wayne Fan.
