Vintage Josef Strnact Vase. Cobalt blue. Gold toned trim. A great scene on the front, featuring 2 women and a man. One of the women is playing a harp. Right away, please note the condition. The gold tone applied along the trim and edges is showing a great deal of wear and fading. Also, some wear and scratches across the entire piece. For the age and type of item, good overall. The approximate dimensions : 10 \" tall, 3 1/8 \" across at the opening on top, and roughly 3 3/4 \" across at the bottom contact patch. Please note the underside. Markings include JS, Austria and some numbers. Those numbers appear to include the following : 4922 over 13. Those numbers are not stamped on. They are part of the original casting. We believe this piece to be from the early 20th century. It is gorgeous, and will look wonderful on your mantle. Don\'t let it get away !!
