Vintage JABEL 18k White Gold Art Deco Diamond Engagement Ring+Wedding Band Set

For your consideration is a charming vintage Art Deco circa 1930s solid 18k white gold wedding set. The 18k white gold diamond engagement ring is by fine jewelry designer JABEL, and the matched diamond wedding band (not Jabel) is 18k white gold and Palladium (a strong metal in the platinum family). These rings were worn together as a lovely vintage set, so I\'m selling them that way.

If you don\'t know anything about the Jabel jewelry company, it was founded in 1916, and its \"claim to fame\" is its fine quality die-struck mountings with higher percentages of gold and platinum,hand-picked gemstones, and hand-craftsmanship here in the United States. This company takes great pride in creatingsuperb diamond jewelry and gemstone rings, and is world-renowned.

The engagement ring features a fiery 3.8 mm (.22 ct) old European diamond with a slightly open culet, set in four fishtail prongs in a square illusion-style head which increases the size of the diamond to the eye. The diamond is graded as H color and SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler. It\'s flanked on each side by a single cut diamond (.015 ct each), G color VS clarity. Total diamond weight in the engagement ring is about .25 ctw. (check out the head from all sides, there are little hearts!)The wedding band is an excellent match for the engagement ring, adding just the right amount of sparkle to this petite set. The engagement ring is set with 15 sparkling .01 ct very nice quality single cut diamonds, total of about .15 ctw. The hallmarks on both rings are crisp and clear (despite their age!) which indicates very little wear to this set. Total diamond weight in this bridal set is about .40 ctw.The face measures 1/4\" top to bottom, with both rings together. The engagement ring is marked 18K JABEL, and the wedding band is marked 18K/Pall with a maker\'s mark. They weigh 3.5 grams, and the engagement ring is size 4.5, wedding band is 4.75. They can be sized by any competent jeweler. This antique bridal set is in EXCELLENT pre-owned condition.
