Wood & Galvenized Steel
Up for sale is this really nice United Daires Milk Bottle Crate.
The markings on the box indicate it is from Detroit in January of 1966. This vintage crate has clear print on 2 sides of it (see pics).
This great piece is made of wood with galvanized steel. It is heavy, very strong and sturdy. Normal age and use wear. Some rust and oxidation on the metal. The wood is nice, only normal wear; no missing woods or gouges. The measurements are 16 x 13 x 10. The print on the side is still very readable. All in all, this is a great vintage piece of dairy history from the Detroit area.
