Up for sale is a used Vintage Japanese Lacquer Painted Musical Jewelry Box With Mother Of Pearl Inlay. The box has 6 stunning hand painted scenes.that are used to traditionally depict Mt Fuji, lake Ashinoko, and one of multiple shrines along the lake. On the outside of the box there is mother of pear inlay on the top of the lid. There are a few places where the black paint has been chipped off that are circled in red in the last 3 pictures. Inside the box there is a mirror on the bottom side of the lid that has one of the painted pictures of Mt Fuji. When the lid is opened there is a small tray that raises up that has a storage compartment with two doors. Each of the r doors has a orange tassel on their lids and the lids open outwards. Bellow the tray is the main storage area Both the main storage area and tray are lined with blue felt. To the right side of the main storage area is the housing for the music box and a small storage area for rings. The music box does not seam to work and may need repair. There is a lock on the door but no key which should not be a issue since the box opens and closes with out the key.Measurements of the box is 8 1/4\" by 6\" by 4 1/2\"This item is being sold as is and will ship out with in 1 to 2 business days after payment is received.
