Up for sale is this beautiful VINTAGE PORCELAIN CHINA GINGER JAR with the most gorgeous IRIS FLOWER DESIGN HALLMARKED on the bottom in JAPANESE LETTERS and on the side of the JAR.
The Iris flower design is just stunning in purples, greens, a and little touch of red. There is a vertical red strip with Japanese letters on the side of the jar. Love the splashes of red.
The lid is lined on the inside border with cork. At the top of the lid is a red hallmark which looks like a leaf shape in a square. Around the rim of the lid at the top border of the jar and the bottom border of the jar there is a fabulous black pattern against the white porcelain. Very striking!
Bottom of the jar is hallmarked with a red stamp in JAPANESE LETTERS. Please refer to my pictures.With the lid on it measures approximately 5 1/8 inches high. Seems to be in very good to excellent condition!Just a truly lovely JAR or Urn to add to your collection! It\'s a beauty!Yet Another, \"OH I GOTTA HAVE IT\"! here at DOLLFACE18!
