This listing is for an interesting vintage Japanese cast iron metal tea pot with a bumpy or beaded design, lid with ornate finial or knob, and metal handle. It is marked Japan inside the lid and some kind of Asian symbols or markings on the side under the spout. I haven\'t a clue what this means but maybe someone can identify it from this marking. As I\'m not an expert, I wouldn\'t know the exact age, history or origin of this piece. See photos-many pictures have been provided. Tea pot measures approx 8\" tall including the handle and approx 22\" all the way around the widest part using a tape measure. Item is in good condition for its age, inside has rust & patina from age and use. You\'re getting it just as I did, sold strictly as is, shown & found.
