Available on sale is one Model M 20-1294 Jensen Field Coil Speaker. Labeled \"capehart\" from console. 25 Watts, 90 Volts, DC current. Voice coil is 5 ohms, Field coil is 285 ohms. Speaker size is 14\" x 8\"x 13 1/2\". Speaker is about 40 lbs. Cone mostly intact. No rubbing. 3 small tears in speak. I have included pictures. Several small holes around parts of edge of cone. The former Jensen Radio Manufacturing Company was founded in 1927 byPeter Laurits Jensen, the co-inventor of the first loudspeaker, inChicago, Illinois. The company gained popularity in its early years, rising to its peak in the mid 1940s when Jensen speakers were selected to be used in the first production of a guitar amplifier byFender Musical Instruments Corporation. Subsequently, Jensen speakers in the 40s, 50s, and 60s became commonly featured in major amplifier production, including amplifiers produced by Fender,Ampeg, andGibson. The company also producedHi-Filoudspeakersfor home use and was a manufacturer ofOEMdrivers for other brands.

Jensen Loudspeakers ceased production of their products in the late 1960s. The speakers remained heavily sought-after as replacements for amplifiers originally manufactured with Jensen speakers
