It has seen better days, it\'s got a lot of surface rust and it is beat up, not completely but it has a lot of wrinkles and dents, so just be aware. This actually looks anicent and would look good in a rustic display. The lid does unscrew and I\'ve known that you can remove some of the dents from inside the tin with a few minor tools. It\'s 7\" tall x 3\" wide at the base and 2 1/8\" deep. You can still read the embossed \"Justrite\" logo on both sides.Thanks for looking
