Vintage KERAMOS Pottery 14 3/4\" GERMAN SHEPHERD Dog # 2714 Austria CHOCHOLKA

Very large Alsatian or German Shepherd seated dog figure, made by Wiener Kunst Keramik, Austria. The designer was Rudolph Chocholka (1888 - 1958), who was known for his beautiful animal sculptures. Made circa 1940-50s with airbrushed brown tones and detailed eyes and pink tongue. Bottom is impressed 2714 and faint stamp of Keramos and Made in Austria. Also has the black E&R Austria black and gold label.

Size: 14 3/4\" high x 10\" wide x 9\" deep, weighs 3 1/2 lbs

CONDITION: Amazing pristine condition without damage, breaks orrepairs. No glaze crazing.

Will pack with care in oversized box, insurance is included.
