This sweet KIGU heart shaped compact has a lovely textured brass decoration overall. The compact has a push button opening and an interior mirror. The original powder puff and powder screen are missing. The compact is empty.
The compact has an intricately decorated interior and is marked above the mirror Cherie, PATENTED. It is also marked below the mirror, MADE IN ENGLAND. The compact\'s powder compartment has the KIGU logo with crown. The compartment opens with a slide mechanism.
It has overall light wear from use with discoloration on areas of the interior. The closure works perfectly and the mirror has only minor scratches. The compact measures approx. 3 1/4\" long (~8.26 cm) x 3\" wide at its widest point (~7.62 cm). It dates from the 1950\'s.
