In 1899 the \"Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik\" (a dip pen factory) was taken over by Heinrich Koch and Rudolph Weber. The name KaWeCo is a contraction of \"Koch, Weber & Co.\" In the early years Kaweco produced wooden dip pens and imported gold nibs from A. Morton in New York. In 1914 the firm received the \"Goldenen Preis\" (golden prize) on the International Show in Leipzig. Geha became one of the first companies in the world to produce fountain pens made by injection moulding. The Kaweco Dia and Kaweco Colleg series with a piston-filling mechanism were introduced in 1934 followed by the presentation of the famous \"Kaweco Sport\" in 1935. Other models were: Kadett, Elite, Special, Karat, V1 and V2.Specifications:
