For sale this campy vintage electric light made from a large abalone and smaller sea shells set in a marbleized clay base. The lighting fixture is a primitive clear glass bulb on a cloth covered cord which gives a clue to its age, probably from the 40\'s or 50\'s. The photos show how pretty it will look when lit, but the buyer must rewire to make this a safe lighting device. I\'m selling it purely as a decorativecollectible (AS IS) and not a functional lamp.I will include the original cord as a guide for replacement. It should be an easy fix as safe, modern low wattage bulbs on cords may be found in craft stores. The lamp measures 6-1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide, and stands 6 inches tall.
