I bought these at a Cape Cod estate sale - she was a collector - and knowing nothing about these two dolls I bought them because of the workmanship - and the fact they were so charming. They must be sold together as these siblings should not be separated.
I believe they are perhaps vintage Klumpe Roldan dolls - after doing a little research. They look like them. These skiers are dressed as in the 50\'s. Look closely at their well executed expressive faces are. The one standing on her skis is 7\" tall. The one carrying her skis is 6\" tall ) to top of her head). They both have golden thread hair - wood skis with blue metal - scarfs blowing in the winter wind - the one on skis can stand on her own - other one needs a stand or needs to lean against something. They are in excellent well cared for condition.
Hopefully they will go to a new home.
