Vintage LEFTON China HANDPAINTED Ceramic Figurine of a Grandma Artist Painter Painting at an Easel. Made in JAPAN for LEFTON China, sometimes in the 1970\'s. Matte bisque parian finish overall.
The Grandma sits at her easel, brush in one hand and artist\'s palette in the other, as she peers at the subject she\'s painting. At her feet is her brush pot with severaladditional highly detailed paintbrushes. On the easel is her work in progress - a landscape painting of a line of trees. Exceptionally detailed overall. You can see the brush marks left by the hand painting all over this piece.Marked with the fired-on Lefton \"L\" and crown and model number7799.
