Vintage 1953 off-white satin wedding dress heavily decorated with layers of lace down front skirt , under net yoke and around train.    The dress buttons down the back with covered buttons & loops (all there).  Dress is shown with a small display hoop under it.

Fabric: Satin with 3-1/2\" lace
Size: About a small - please go by garment measurements below:

  • Bust - underarm to underarm - 34 (but would fit sligtly larger actual bust)
  • Sleeve length - 24
  • Waist - 28
  • Hips - free
  • Bodice to natural waist - 16\"
  • Front skirt length from natural waist - 42\"
  • Back skirt length including train - 80\"

Condition: Dress has excellent construction. Dry cleaning tags from initial wearing were still on dress but some staining remains on edge of one sleeves, lower lace area has couple stains and light underarm discoloration.

We try to ship all purchases within 1-2 business days excluding Sundays. We normally ship USPS Priority or Parcel Post using \'s calculated rates. Smaller items may be shipped First Class Mail if this can save on mailing costs for the customer.

Majority of international sales are mailed first class international - priority used for fragile, expensive or any weight or combination weight over 4 lbs. Please do not ask us to alter amount of sale for custom\'s - please consider this when offerding. Any custom duties issued by your country is your responsibility when package arrives.

Vintage clothing is worn/pre-loved and has sometimes been in storage for a number of years. I launder or dry clean some items, but ultimate laundering or dry cleaning, before wearing, is the buyer\'s responsibility. Items are sold \"as is\". I will describe any flaws that I notice. All vintage clothing is bound to have a trivial flaw here or there. Majority of pieces I list are between 30 and 80 years old and will have normal wear indicative of their age. If you have any questions, please ask before offerding. I may miss something super minor that does not effect the overall look of the piece in any way.
