Seller is saleing this sweet and charming 15.25\" long VINTAGE brown dachshund weiner dog planter figurine. Bottom is marked Brandie Dog.
It is used but in fine condition for its age from an estate.... Smoke free home. The exterior of the dog planter is clean but dirty inside as used for intended purpose.
A great decor piece for your home and for any dog or Dachshund lover.
In searching the Internet I found an exact match (in black) stating it was by the Stanford Pottery Co. So this could be one of their pieces and measures the same as their planter. They were in business from 1945 until 1961 when the company burned to the ground in Sebring Ohio.
This large planter measures approximately 15 1/2 in. long, 4 1/4 in. wide at his shoulders, and 7 1/2 in. high to the top of his head. I did not spot any chips or cracks.
Seller offers this as is and as shown in the photos for condition which are part of the description.
