This antique Art Deco blue peacock bird beaded figural flapper purse dates from the 1920s. It is hand beaded with a black bead background and a beautiful beaded blue green peacock bird figural design done on both sides sitting on a leafy branch. This fabulous flapper handbag purse has an engraved silver plate metal frame with an Art Deco geometric design pattern, ball clasp closure on top, chain link strap and is lined in a blush pink nude color silk fabric inside. The purse measures 10 inches long and 8 inches wide. It is in excellent condition, with no missing or loose beads. This is truly a rare and exquisite piece of Art Deco antique beaded textile art!
