Vintage large round pin measures 1-11/16\" in diameter, and is made of lightweight silver-colored material, enameled in dark red. The design shows St. George slaying a dragon, with the words MOCKBA CEPAUE POCCUU. St. George is a popular Russian motif, and is on the coat of arms of the city of Moscow (Mockba). I do not know if this is a military pin; enameled pins are very popular in Russia for regions, cities, etc., and the pin and the pinning attachment on the backfeel too lightweight to be part of a military uniform, but it is still an attractive design, a real attention-getter! Some light surface wear, some places where the red enameling has gone over its lines (and spattered on the backside) but overall nice condition.
