Large Vintage JAJ Pyrex Casserole Dish \"Harvest Vegetable\"

Ideal for use over Christmas and New Year!

On the base of the casserole dish it bears the back-stamp \"JAJ\", the Crown Pyrex symbol and the number \"5\".

JAJ (James A Jobling), acquired the rights from Corning to produce Pyrex in Sunderland. His initials stamp, along with the Crown symbol means it is Pyrex that was made in England until 1970. Its sometimes also called \"Crown Pyrex\".

The 27th September 1970 was the last day that glass was made at the Pyrex plant in Sunderland - subsequently ending the production of Pyrex in England. Pyrex had been produced for 85 years at the Sunderland site (and glassware in general had been produced on the site for over 150 years).
