VINTAGE, LARGE KACHINA, BY MASTER CARVER, TONY M. ESPINOZA. SIGNED. Hand carved from cottonwood root, this large, Kachina, measures approximately 16\" in height (from bottom of wood base to top of head). **There is a shallow, crack along back, hidden under the hair. (See photo.) The Kachina is signed \"Tony M. Espinoza\" on the bottom of the wood base by the artist.

This unique Kachina, is a wonderful example from the talented and highly regarded MASTER CARVER, TONY M. ESPINOZA, from Hollbrook, Arizona. From the 70\'s to 80\'s vintage era, this Kachina shows lots of details and superb painting skills. Details include a Concho bracelet and a Concho belt, a fur tail, wood rattle, and various feathers.

Please Note: The bottom of the Kachina\'s ceremonial clothing is not fabric, but carved from cottonwood root. An excellent, detailed carving, with painting primarily in earth tones, this Kachina, is really well done. Thanks for viewing!
