This VINTAGE ANTIQUE LEATHER PLIERS-TYPE HOLE PUNCH is over 100 years old, and shows normal wear for a tool of this age. There is rust on the handle, and the tip of the punch hole cutting edge is slightly worn away, so it takes a couple of bites to finish each punched hole. On one side it is stamped: PAT. SEP 25 1984 and RE NOV 6 1900. On the other side it is stamped: W S CO NEW HAVEN CONN LODI. That\'s probably W. SCHOLLHORN Co., New Haven, CT. It appears to be size #2, as there is a \"2\" stamped near the tip. It leaves a round hole in leather punched slightly smaller than 1/8 Inch. The spring loaded pliers handle is still firm on its axis, and has no slop in the working of the handles. Please examine photos carefully and you\'ll see what nice condition this item is in, considering that it is over 100 years old. Approximately 8 Inches long.
