Offered is a very pretty 1950\'s Lefton nut or trinket dish, measuring 5 3/4\" from top to bottom of stem, and 5 1/2\" width, and sits 1 1/4\" high. The color is a soft yellow-green (my camera lets in light so not all my pictures show the actual green, but my first and last pictures do). Lavishly trimmed in gold on leaf shaped border, leaf stem at bottom, little florets and much scrolling around the center picture, which is a lovely rendering of a courting couple in a country-side setting. At the bottom is the artist\'s signature, which I can\'t really make out, but initials are \"JM\". Around this picture are little raised moriage beading. Base is white with Lefton trademark and \"Hand Painted - Reg. Patent Off.\" and \"377\".
This little dish is in very nice condition. I have scrutinized it carefully, noticing little tiny marks in the \"sky\" of the picture, and concluded they are part of the gold trim process. They are not noticeable without a loupe.
