I can think of so many uses for this lovely piece besides just using it as a cracker tray:
- use it in the bathroom to hold little perfumed soaps
- display your small seashell collection in it
- use it to display prized silver cutlery
- as a vanity tray to hold jewelry or lipsticks.
- It is marked on the bottom, and is also marked Hong Kong on the other end. The sides are scalloped and the tray is latticed. Each end is a seashell design, so pretty, and it is footed. The handle is high, so there is plenty of room to set things in it. It measures 8 inches long, 4\" tall (not counting the handle), and the seashell is 3\" wide across, and the legs are a little wider than the shell. I have not tried to clean this at all--I think it looks so good the way it is, but that is up to the buyer.
