(where they are bound in 2 month collections from that point on)
so the earlier editions are
particularly stout and quite dense weighing in at a lot more
as the earlier magazines also had a lot more pages and ads.Life was the magazine of several generations that sat on everyone\'s coffee table and showed through award winning pictures what was happening in the country and all around the world.
It focused equally on war, peace, history, disaster, crisis, politics, sports, space, new discoveries, drugs, trends, civil unrest and protest, racism, sexism, riots, film and celebrities, the arts, music, fashion, Science, geography, biology, psychology, innovations, the miraculous and the beautiful, the absurd
and the famous and the not so famous.The premise after it was taken over by Time in 1936 :
Life magazine was to be the first publication, with a focus on photographs, that enabled the American public,
