Another Ozark Oddity...this base originally had a fish mounted on it, but the estate seller said her dog chewed it off! The base is still really unusual and undamaged...ready for another critter :) It weighs 1.5lbs and stands 8.5\" tall and 6\" wide at base. Not exactly sure what species of wood this is, maybe cedar, but the burl knot has a lot of character! First two photos are with flash and show the glossy finish. Bottom is covered with old yellow felt.
