Up for sale is a vintage lot of 2 early 1900s full size \"Amati\" violins for restoration. The lightly figured 2pc back violin on the left measures 14 1/8 by 8 1/8 inches.The violin is labelled as a \"Nikolaus Amati Made in Germany\". The nicely shaded 2 pc back violin on the right measures 14 by 8 inches. The violin is labelled as a \"Andreas Amati Made in Czecho-Slovakia\". The scrolls and pegboxes are in good shape and the necks are solid. The fingerboards are ebony and in nice condition. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the violins. The violins will need restoration to become playable. Please check pics. and email questions. More pics. available upon request.
