lot 68-9. I seem to be on an Art Deco kick lately--The first brooch in this lot is gold filled, Art Deco, has the maker\'s mark M&S,and as you can see in the pictures, the clear rhinestones all have a slight bit of darkening--the 7th picture had the best light, and most accurately shows what the brooch looks like--the stones are not nearly so dark as what the first several pictures appear. The gold fill really keeps the surface of the metal very nice on the front--the back (on the back side of the \"ribbon\" and bow has some patina, as though the gold fill was not there in some places--gold does not tarnish--it does mellow with age and use. The second brooch is gold-tone, not hallmarked, has tiny turquoise glass beads in the center of the unusual sun-flower, with a genuine pearl adorning the stem--this brooch is in excellent condition, 2 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide.

If I can tell that a repair has been made, I will tell you in the listing. Do not expect complete perfection unless that is expressly stated. Also, if you are offerding or planning to offer on more than one item to take advantage of the great savings in shipping costs, you will need to contact me to let me know. I am happy to combine shipping separate lots, but I am not a mind reader, nor is it easy to tell, unless the offerding is ended, whether a buyer is involved in more than one offer, unless they are winning.
