What a beautiful well made cutlery tray. I\'ve seen one other tray that was inlaid with a light and dark wood done in a stripe pattern. This appears to be a mahogany wood with satinwood, but I\'m not real sure so please be your own judge. The bottom is held together with miniature handmade screws.

The tray measures 12\" by 7-1/2\" and is 2-1/4\" high. There is wear from usage, but this piece was well loved and used! There is also a small chip on one piece close to the corner. There is shrinkage of the wood in a couple of areas, which is expected with age. Not sure where this was made. Maybe European?
