Vintage MIKIMOTO Pearl Jewelry Box and Silver Necklace Clasp!For your consideration is this Wonderful and Fabulous Vintage MIKIMOTO Pearl Jewelry Boxand Silver Necklace Clasp.This listing is for the Box & Clasp ONLY I am including the Pearl Necklace!
NOTE: The necklace is an added Freebie, you may be surprised if you know anything about Pearls and IF in fact a few of these are MIKIMOTO Cultured Pearls that came with the Box and Clasp.This Necklace has been restrung, it is secure but it is NOT hand knotted and has Faux Pearls Added!The few mentioned that may be genuine do not show peeling of the Nacre where the really small faux pearls do. The drill holes differ as well, and the few possible genuine show the imperfections that are present on real pearls.. I don\'t know for sure, hopefully they are genuine, congrats if they are!
The Box: Original Mikimoto Box is Hand Embroidered Metallic Floral Design, has a Push In Clasp, Velvet Lined, Satin Lined with the Amazing MIKIMOTO Cultured Pearls Hallmark in Gold Stamp!
The Clasp: Ornate Push In Hook with Floral Design on both sides,Hallmarked with the Authentic Mikimoto M in Clam Shell on the tip,The Ornate portion of the Clasp is also Hallmarked Sterling and Mikimoto\'s M in Clam Shell on the side.
Box Measures: 6\" L X 4\" W X 3/4\" DeepClasp: Secure and in tact.Condition:Box is in great condition the Satin lining is not perfectly bright due to age, but has no damage.The Clasp is in Excellent Condition.Hallmark: Authentic \"Mikimoto Cultured Pearls\" on Inside Box Liner.M in Clam Shell on Hook and M in Clam Shell and Sterling on Ornate Clasp.Era: Style from Mikimoto\'s 1943 - 1950 Line.
