This set of 3 tuxedo studs/buttons with matching hexagonal cufflinks comes with the original box that is stamped G. Seifert & Sons, Quebec, Canada. This set was purchased probably during the period from 1890 to 1920.

The 3 Tuxedo Studs are stamped: ROLLED GOLD PLATE and the set is made of rolled gold plate, silver and Mother of Pearl
German born Gustavus Seifert started his business in Quebec around 1860 and the business was registered as G. Seifert & Sons, Jewelers, Quebec. Seifert was a retailer and manufacturing jeweler, his firm was one of Quebec City\'s high end retail shops with an active silver department. It was acquired by Henry Birks & Sons c. 1930.
