An extensively hand embroidered Madeira work tablecloth

This is a crisp,off white,linen tablecloth with brown hand embroidery.

There is a central round elaborate design of cut work and hand embroidery.

This is surrounded by a square with punch holes and embroidery.

This in turn is surrounded by a border of flowers made from cut work and embroidery. There is a flower design in each corner, this trails down to the outer corners Some of the flowers and leaves have raised embroidery.

The hemline is scalloped and oversewn in brown

Approx size 49in (125cm )square

This has been stitched by a skilled needle person.

Freshly laundered and ready to use, very good condition. No stains or holes, a few broken bars on the outer edge, easily fixed.
