A rare & stunning vintage Malcolm Gray of Ortak Scottish 9ct Gold Art Nouveau Inspired \'Whiplash Design\' Brooch, which is stamped with the maker\'s mark \'MG\' for Malcolm Gray & a full Edinburgh Hallmark confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold and that it was assayed in 1991 (please see close up photographs, which form an integral part of this description).
This wonderfully stylish Scottish Gold Brooch weighs 2.8 grams and is approx\' 4.1cms long and approx\' 1.7cms high. The Brooch is fairly rare, as it is quite unusual to find jewellery by Malcom Gray in 9ct Gold as most of his designs were produced in Sterling Silver. Overall itis in great condition with only wear as shown commensurate with age & use; it appears to be complete with it\'s original pin, hinge and secure clasp making it ready to wear.
