This Cookie Mammy Jar is divine and true American history. The National Silver Pottery co. had a no of different firings and some different colors, i do not think this one had any red on lips and it looks much nicer than any i have seen. Some seem to have an open smile making her look quite odd, this one looks so much more natural, I am not anexpertcorrect me if not so. The jar has The bottom has USA And NSC. It is over 9 1/2 \" Tall. This item is as good as they get being so often back then they wereprimitivelymade with imperfections, this one is perfect as the day made! The one inch flaw again is a factory flaw a slight split in clay before firing, does not hurt it and does not weaken it! To Keep it nice I will double wrap or Box it.
