The Best Part - Comes with the Original Box!

Condition is excellent for its age. There are no bends or rust and the original string is threaded so that the toy still works as designed. It was played with and there is some paint loss under the forearms that typically happened when Zippo made the climb up the string a few times.
Measures 10\" length nose to tail
The design for Zippo is actually much older than the Marx Co. itself. Louis Marx bought it from his first employer, Ferdinand Strauss, to launch his own company which he began in 1919. This was a very popular toy for many years so it is possible that our toy was made as early as the 1920\'s.
