Here is a very old dipper/ladle which was found in an old barn estate sale. It appears that it is hand made.....the handle is iron, I believe, and the bowl of the ladle looks to be a bronze colored metal, perhaps brass that has discolored with age. There is a little bit of rust on the handle, and some discoloration in the bowl of the ladle that may come off with the proper cleaning. There is also some light rust around the spot where the handle attaches to the bowl, but there is no pitting or damage.
