Vintage Mid-Century Danish Sterling Silver Flora Danica Modernist Ring – Eggert,Copenhagen

This circa 1965-1970 sterling silver ring has a striking modernist design of a flower blossom—a veritable pompom of organic petals.

The size 5 ½ ring is 1” high, 7/8” wide and 3/8” deep at the front.

The band is a bypass style with tapered ends soldered behind the flower.

The inside is marked :Flora Danica Sterling 925, Eggert, Denmark.

Firmaet Eggert Glaskunst of Copenhagen, founded by Orla & Grethe Eggert, was in operation from about 1962 to 1974.

The ring is in very fine condition.
