This is a gorgeous, contrasting-toned pair of mid century, floral & tree scape motif, cloisonne enamel-over solid copper pillar candle holders-in flawless, original condition. The atomic form is a perfect palette for the vibrant-while-moody, almost ‘lava glaze’ relief decoration of trees surrounding the tapering bases, w/bright flowers on the octagonal wells. The interior/underside is a medium blue, robin’s egg ‘graniteware’ enamel.This is a rare pair; a seldom encountered, dynamite example of mid 20C Modernist functional design & decor.Dimensions: H 3\" x W 3.5\"
