This is a pair of mid-century modern wall sconces in all original near mint condition.

I discovered these in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Portland, OR and spoke to the owner about them. According to the owner, these are original to his home which was built in 1950 or 1951. He recently removed the sconces and replaced them with something different.

I\'ve taken the lights apart for a gentle cleaning and examination. The lights are not marked with any maker information but they were clearly made with these specific parts, base and shade. Both lights are in near mint condition with just a few paint flecks on the backs as shown in image #9. There are also some light wear marks on the original push switches. The lights are very well made and of superior quality. Image #9 also shows the original cloth covered wiring and originalvintage switches

The sconces have a wonderful Atomic look with the clear acrylic rounded bottoms fused to the opaque shades. All of the connections are tight and damage free.

This is an original pair of wonderful mid-century modern sconces for your remodel or mid-century home. Both of the lights function perfectly thoughI only took images of one while working. Please excuse my hack hanging job, I just wanted to show the light illuminated. I also took images with and without the flash for adifferent perspective. for you.

The lights are 9\" tall and the base is 5\" wide. The upper opaque shades are 3 3/4\" across when viewed from the front.
