A quite lovely and simple pearl brooch from Mikimoto, one of the premier names in jewelry and pearls. A swirling leaf design set with four pearls ranging in size from 5.5 to 6.5 mm. The brooch itself is slightly less than 2 inches long, and about 1 and 1/8th inch wide at the broadest point. See size relative to a penny in the photo. On back are stamped an \"M\" for Mikimoto, and an \"S\" which if I understand Mikimoto markings correctly signifies .950 silver, purer than sterling
