Old Moskva wine pitcher jug from Hungary. Red ware - figural in style (Hussar soldier) with raised designs and glazed a deep green. a writhing snake on the front is a Hungarian folk symbol of eternal life. Beautiful incised floral decoration ( like it was embroidered) on the back near the handle.
