This early to middle 1900s sculpture of soft Michigan sandstone measures 15” tall x 9” x 5” and boasts deeply cut details, bold planar surfaces and looks great viewed from any angle. It appears to be a hand and arm with ruffled sleeve and has remarkable presence and rich, natural earthy tan and rust coloration. This material is friable and sheds a bit of sand with each handling and is stable and free of breaks or significant loss after over 50 years.
