Up for sale is this fabulous VINTAGE HUGE TEARDROP SHAPED ONYX STONE PENDANT set in a BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE SILVER MODERNIST STYLE SETTING.
This is a stunning pendant, the teardrop shaped piece of black onyx is set in a wide high silver setting with a cut out silver teardrop shaped piece around it and an upside down horseshoe shape around that. The huge silver bail is over 3/8 of an inch wide in a barrel shape. Love that bail!
There are no markings that I can see on this piece, but the way it is made and the way it tarnished makes me believe it is STERLING SILVER.
Especially the large barrel shaped bail which is just awesome, ready for a STERLING chain or leather or silk strap. Measures approximately 2 1/4 inches from bail to bottom of pendant X 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest part of the pendant. It is such a gorgeous pendant that really makes a statement.
