We have a 111 piece Gorham Sterling Silver Fairfax Flatware Set w/three additional unmarked nutpicks (not included in calculations) for a total of 114 pieces.
This is a used vintage set that is in very good condition. It has not been polished, nor will it be polished prior to delivery.The set has an \"R\" monogram.
This item comes with the storage box. The storage box has a small plate with an \"R\" monogram on it. The exterior of the wooden storage box is heavily scratched and while it is solid, it is in poor/fair cosmetic condition.
This set consists of the following:12 x 7 1/8\" forks = 19.7 total ounces
12 x 6 1/16\" fork = 12.3 total ounces
8 x 5 9/16\" forks = 4.7 total ounces
12 x 4 1/16\" spoons = 4.5 total ounces
12 x 5 1/8\" small knives/butter spreaders = 7.9 total ounces
12 x 8 3/4\" butter knives with sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades = 24.8 total ounces but counted as 50% of weight or 12.4 total ounces for calculating sterling silver weight.
17 x 5 1/16\" spoons = 9.1 total ounces
14 x 5 3/4\" spoons = 12.3 total ounces 7 of these spoons are marked Pat\'d M Daniel Low & Co. 4 of these spoons are marked Pat\'d M Chapin & O\'brien 1 of these spoons is marked Sterling Pat\'d M 2 of these spoons are marked Sterling M Carter Brown or Carter Bros. (All 14 Have The Same Pattern)
6 x 5 1/4\" soup spoons = 4.7 total ounces
2 x 8 7/16\" spoons = 4.4 total ounces
2 x 5\" forks = 0.8 total ounces
1 Set of Carving Knife & Fork, both with sterling handles and stainless steel blades =5.9 ounces, but counted as 50% of weight or 2.95 ounces when calculating sterling silver weight.
+ three nut picks that appear to be sterling, but I do not see any markings and did not weigh them, nor add them to the total weight in any way.
This totals 114 pieces and approximately 95.75 ounces sterling silver weight (80.4 ounces + 15.35 ounces for carving knife & fork & butter knives.)
Items are normally shipped within one business day of payment clearing, but weekend sales are shipped on Monday.
This will be shipped via UPS or FEDEX with tracking and signature confirmation; the buyer will need to sign for it on delivery.
