Vintage Moriage Kutani Porcelain Cats (2):

These are ceramic Kutani-style Cats, to the best of my knowledge. Both are hand decorated in the Moriage technique featuring with both vivid and subdued colors. The Beckoning Cat stands 10\" high while the Sleeping Cat is also approx 10\" long. Both are in good condition for ther age. The right ear on the Sleeping Cat looks to have been chipped and painted over (see pic). Some of the detail on the low back and collar appear to be missing.
