For sale is a Vintage Motorola Portable Tube AM Radio Model 55M2U. This radio is in very good, clean condition. Of course, a radio this old does have some smudges and wear and tear, and the knobs have faded some, but overall it is still in nice shape. The handle has a built-in antenna that rotates to help tune in stations. When I tested it, while tuning in a local radio station, just moving the radio a few feet allowed the station to come in strong. It also has a very good sound, and it looks like someone added a jack on the back for a remote speaker or perhaps headphones ( I don\'t have a way to test this jack). This radio works great, but considering it\'s age, I am selling this as-is. I don\'t have the two batteries that is needed for portable use (they probably don\'t make them anymore), but the a/c power cord is included.
