PRICE HAS BEEN LOWERED! THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING DEAL ON A VINTAGE / ANTIQUE ALL GLASS MURANO ART CLOWN! This happy and cheerful all glass clown figurine belonged to my grandmother, and she had at least 50 years, probably closer to 70 years or maybe even longer. My dad remembers this figurine being in the same spot throughout his entire childhood. My grandmother kept it safely enclosed in glass enclosed curio cabinet and she lived in the same house for 75 years. In doing research on this glass clown I was not able to find another one like it. His body is a clear glass with streaks of red and blue glass running through the inside of the clear glass. He is holding a red horn in his white glove hand and he has got a big red glass bow around his neck. He has big thick black glass shoes that keep him very stable and sturdy while standing. He has a black top hat on top of his curly yellow hair. There are two blue glass buttons going down his body and he seems to be holding a blue glass button or item and his other hand. He is 3-D in nature as his nose and eyes the buttons his hat and his big red bow extend from the glass figurine. This is a very interesting and unique item it is in perfect condition with no scratches marks or nicks on it. My grandmother kept it in the same place my entire lifetime, over 50 years. He measures almost 9 inches tall and is 3 inches wide at his widest point. It is very cheerful and colorful with lots of red, yellow, blue and has black shoes and a black hat. He is wearing white gloves on both hands. It is hard to part with this cute little happy fellow but I hope he can find new home with a clown collector, or someone that appreciates beautiful vintage / antique glass figurines.
